That where there are rules and laws, the belief and the legends, the music and the art.
Drawings decorate bodies of motorcyclists, becoming a part of a live flesh, growing into it and narrating about long road where time is measured not hours, and miles. To road, where fidelity, courage and romanticism – not mere words, and life bases.
Motorcycle as the revived continuation of the owner as frequently turns to something improbable, being allocated even among similar article and a coloring. David was born in Kansas City (the State of Missouri, the USA) in 1940. It is possible to name its talent in the true sense of the word hereditary as David's father, Paul of the God-sends, all life was engaged in painting and was a member of the London Society of Artists.
The first pencil sketches of Dejv has started to do, still studying at high school. It were gold times of a rock'n'roll: the sparkling world of white sand and magnificent palm trees, beauties in bikini and "jotas-sorts". The world where sounded cheerful Bich Bojz voice and rebellious Dzherri Li Lewis. These sketches were so successful that to the beginning artist the chance soon has dropped out for the first time to test in serious work – it has executed some orders on an aerographics in style “castom-painting” for the local motor show, belonging the Arch to Thompson and the Yard of Hetriku. Upon termination of school, in the late fifties, having understood that drawing also is its calling, David has arrived on initial courses of painting at Institute of Art of Kansas City. Unfortunately, students have been fine disappointed, and study has lasted not too long: it has appeared that the teacher rather superficially owns a subject and the most part of pupils considerably surpasses it both in talent and in skill. But it didn't mean that Dejv so has easily surrendered and has refused the dream.

Having returned after this trip home, to Kansas City, David buys the first motorcycle: Harley-Davidson “Panhead” 1948 of all for 350$. This motorcycle was the only thing presented on show, and in general unique. Music changed, preferences in a fashion on clothes changed, bikers changed also, but all this time in pictures of the unique master reigns one theme, one mood. Huge, fine, times the grotesque world, where in the center always steel heart of the motor where the nature is fresh, as in the first day of creation. Pictures, at a sight on which heart starts to fight in beat roads. It is David Manna's opened for all the world who else is capable to see and feel.
These words it would be desirable to finish the story about the ingenious master, but, unfortunately, during article writing there was an irreparable: David Mann has left from us. Last years he suffered from warm illness and the heavy form of an arthritis that didn't allow it to take up the brush again. Cessation of work with “Easyriders” and moving from Florida in Missouri has deprived of its right to the medical insurance, and 64 summer artist has been compelled to expose for auction legendary “Panhead” to defray all expenses on treatment. Friends and admirers of talent of the master helped and supported David and its courageous wife Jackie in this hard time, but illness has prevailed and on September, 11th, 2004 David Mann has died. It is huge loss for those who knew and loved it, for those who at least time saw its tremendous pictures.
